Website design and rebuilds for a moving company
22.3% of moving companies list no website on their Google profile. The gap that follows is the most useful number on this site: movers with a site have a median of 58 reviews, movers without have 1. The site does not create reviews. It marks the companies serious enough to earn them.
A moving site has one job and it is not looking expensive. It has to answer, in order: do you serve my route, are you licensed, what does this roughly cost, and can I get a price without an in-home visit. That means a rate range in text, your USDOT and MC numbers in the footer, a binding estimate explanation, and a video survey offer above the fold.
Then speed and thumbs. Half your traffic is a person on a phone standing in a half-packed living room. Tap-to-call in the header, a form with four fields, load under two seconds. Separate pages for local, long-distance, commercial, packing and storage, plus a page for each city you dispatch to, because those pages are what rank and what the answer engines read.
